ProGrAnalog is the global leader in next generation semiconductor power testing solutions for power distribution networks (PDN), and the team behind the LoadSlammer™ test tools. We make high performance large ASIC load power emulators that enable systems integrators to test and validate their designs. Due to the pseudo random nature of CPU/ GPU/ APU/ FPGA load profiles, the power delivery system needs to be tested exhaustively. The complexity and nonlinearity of the system means that simulations must be verified against real life testing. There is no substitute for real life testing of a power distribution network.
As a product moves through the various stages of development, each different stage of product development will use the LoadSlammer product. The one common denominator between the design stages and the ecosystem partners is the LoadSlammer tool. Providing a comprehensive testing methodology in conjunction with a hardware and software-based tool allows for consistent and exhaustive testing. Greater collaboration and associated efficiencies in product development equates to faster time to market.

As our customer’s products become more complex testing becomes more sophisticated and time consuming. We test both the reliability of the hardware and the associated data it is handling. There is a narrow parameter within which power devices must operate. If the power supply voltage exceeds the acceptable range the system on chip (SoC) suffers a shortened life span. Data can become unusable if the power supply is too low.
We make equipment that allows the world’s largest consumers of computational power to be as efficient as possible. With cloud and Ai often consuming 5-10% of the world’s electricity, optimizing the Power Distribution Network allows for much greater efficiency and sustainability.
Our aim is to introduce a ubiquitous testing methodology across the Semiconductor industry. Today, there are many different phases in the testing journey involving many ecosystem partners. A great deal of time can be spent comparing data between companies and even one company across multiple geographies. At ProGrAnalog, we are focused on making one consistent all-encompassing tool flow. Our goal is to open source the testing and validation of the industry that will lead to a more efficient ecosystem.
ProGrAnalog was founded in 2014 predicated on reducing both the time to market and expense associated with the power supply design, test and implementation for the semiconductor industry. Our LoadSlammer product range is now an integral part of the new product development for some of the world’s largest chip manufacturers.
In 2024, a decade later we are excited to be launching some of our most sophisticated testing solutions which will be capable of testing the next generation of chips.
